We are a small kennel located in beautiful Cranbrook BC.
I've had Shepherds in my life since I was a child but we didn't establish our own kennel until 1994. We are very serious about producing the best possible puppy and are striving to produce dogs that are healthy both in body and mind. We like a dog that is willing to work and wants to please yet does not have so much prey drive that they are difficult to live with. We do not look for extreme angulation preferring instead a more moderate dog and yet one that moves with ease and fluidity. Our Mom's and Dad's are always Champions in the conformation ring, have certification of hips and elbows and some working certification. The dogs are raised as part of the family in a wonderful wooded environment where they have free access to about 2 acres of fenced yard. The rest of the property is used to raise veggies, chickens, and flowers. We feel the combination of good genetics, good environment and good nutrition gives us the best opportunity to produce and raise puppies with optimum health and temperament.
 
Many of our pups are placed in family homes, being active and well loved members of the family. Making us proud with tales of their exploits, adventures and caring ways with their people. Many others are in show and working homes, making us proud with their achievments. New owners are required to provide a safe environment for their dog and are encouraged to participate in carrying on with socializing their puppy and participating in early obedience classes as it helps develop the bond between them. All pups are registered, micro chipped, first shots and vet checked. All come with a written guarantee. Companion puppies are sold on a non-breeding contract. We make ourselves available on an ongoing basis to answer questions, provide support etc. We also appreciate new puppy owners keeping us in touch with how things are going and how their pups are developing.
